Introducing the beautiful Kanileʻa Moana (Beach) Tenor ukulele! This is a prototype model, the very first Kanile'a Moana model made and the only available Moana model anywhere. This ukulele is made out of a top, back and sides of solid curly maple and dyed by the Kanile'a Souza brothers, Kaimana and Kahiau, to look like the beautiful Pacific Ocean that surrounds the islands. The Moana features a unique blue Kanile'a logo and blue poplar fret markers as well as a wound low-G. It features a unique ebony folk guitar style tweezer bridge with a graphite infused saddle for increased resonance and string health as well as a side sound port to help any performer feel the resonance of the instrument. Comes equipped with Kanileʻa original geared tuners and a high UV gloss finish on the body. Kanile'a ukuleles are known for producing a sweet tone and a well balanced resonance across all frequencies due to their Tru-redesign bracing system. The Pohaku also has the TRU-Resonance engraving under the soundboard to increase resonance. Comes with Kanile'a original carrying bag.
