The Kamaka HF-38 8-string tenor 'ukulele is a highly-coveted model in Kamaka's lineup. The strings are tuned from the 8th string to G-G-C-C-E-E-A-A, much like the double-stringed scheme of a 12-string guitar. The double C and double G are tuned one octave apart, while the E and A strings are each in unison. The body is made of solid Hawaiian Koa. It has a simple design with Schaller's geared tuners, making it easy to fine-tune your strings. This ʻukulele is light and is well-balanced between the head and body, making it comfortable and excellent for long sessions. It has a warm tone reminiscent of the traditional ʻukulele of old. Comes with a Kamaka original hard shell case.
